There is a real difference between an event giveaway and retail merchandise. A giveaway needs to look good in a photo for one day. Retail merchandise needs to survive a shelf, a changing room and a wash cycle, with a label, a barcode and packaging that make it feel like a finished product rather than a printed favour.
